SHRIMP TARTARE
Shrimp tartare is a delicious appetizer that is also great to serve at a buffet or to accompany a tasty and refined dish. Marinated raw shrimp are very flavourful, and in addition to serving them simply seasoned, you can prepare them as tartare marinated with lemon. I have chosen red shrimp, which I find very tasty and with a delicate flavour; in fact, shrimp tartare is my favorite of all the ones I have tried. Now let’s go to see how to make marinated raw shrimp tartare.

How to make Shrimp Tartare
Let’s start preparing the Shrimp Tartare by removing the head, taking off the shell, and making an incision on the back to remove the intestines. Wash them very well under running water.
Then cut the shrimp into pieces and pour them into a bowl. Wash the organic, untreated lemon well and grate part of the peel directly onto the shrimp, then cut it in half and squeeze out the juice.
Pour the lemon juice over the raw shrimp tartare, add extra virgin olive oil, salt, plenty of pepper, and chopped mint. Mix well, close the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
